Dr. Michelle Beauchene, DPT, CLT is a physical therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist trained in manual lymphatic drainage and bandaging for edema reduction. She is experienced in treating patients with diverse orthopedic conditions using a combination of manual, exercise and aquatic therapies.

Michelle grew up in sunny Yakima, Washington among orchards and farmland, enjoying reading books especially in the summertime. After graduating high school, she explored life in Bellingham, WA while attending Western Washington University, frequently hiking (as properly befits a northwestern girl!) the trails on Chuckanut, Mt. Baker as well as biking around the area. Some years later, she moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, while enjoying backpacking in the beautiful desert in her off time. She now lives in Portland and finds meaning by specializing in the treatment of lymphedema. She can often be heard laughing about life’s foibles with her patients and brings an air of joy  and commiseration to the realities of the human condition. She enjoys quiet moments with patients and works to provide an atmosphere of healing with laughter and community.

Michelle received her undergraduate degree from Western Washington University in 2005 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in 2015.
